DON’T BECOME A SLAVE TO INTUITION

There is such a thing as going too far with interpreting your intuition and the meaning of everything that happens to you.

Don’t become a slave to intuition.

That’s the same as believing your doctor, your tarot card reader or your child’s teacher is always right.

Intuition is not exact science, and your intuitive inklings are open to interpretation.

Your interpretation won’t always be right (although you’ll get better at hearing it and receiving it over time) and not everything has to have huge significance.

Sometimes things just are the way they are because they are.

If trying to come up with an interpretation of an event or inkling or a dream causes you to suffer or get down on yourself, stop! Don’t force it. Guidance is supposed to be gentle (if you need that lesson reinforced, go back to our discussion of entering ‘the zone’).

If an answer or an interpretation is not forthcoming, give it time – it might turn up later, when you least expect it, or not at all.

Use what you have learned in this section to enhance your life, not to make it more complicated.
