THE KING OF ALL LIMITING BELIEFS

This section would most definitely not be complete if I was to skip over the belief that I come up against the most as I coach people.

“I am not good enough” is the king of all limiting beliefs.

It runs rampant in many people’s lives and careers.

I know it well, because I too had carried it around with me and held it for a while; you may have it yourself.

I bring it up here because it is so insidious and sneaky that you might not even realise it’s running you or even within you.

This belief is so sneaky that it tends to trigger a neediness that keeps the believer running from his true self, chasing his personality’s (ego’s) needs.

If you happen to hold this limiting belief, you probably have amassed plenty of evidence to support it, and enough pain as a result that looking for evidence to the contrary is a race against the clock and yourself.

You need to know that you ARE good enough, and you often strive to prove this through competitiveness and manipulation of yourself and others. This is no kind of life. The antidote is not to look for evidence that you are good enough at something or another, but rather, to find the evidence that you are good as person.
