Want to create a life where Monday-itis doesn’t exist

Happy Monday Best Lifers!

We know that sometimes, it can be tough to find motivation when you’re feeling the Monday blues. But don’t worry, we’ve got your back.

First of all, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you’re not alone.

We’ve come to learn over the years that a lot of people feel it’s normal to feel a bit sluggish on Monday mornings, but it doesn’t have to ruin your entire day, nor does it have to be that way anymore.

Here are a few tips to help you shake off that Monday-itis and get motivated:

  1. Start your day with a positive mindset. Instead of focusing on the negatives of the day, focus on the opportunities that lie ahead. Think about what you can accomplish today and how it will help you move closer to your goals.
  2. Make a to-do list. It’s much easier to stay motivated when you have a clear idea of what needs to be done based on where you are headed as your destination. Write down your tasks for the day and prioritise them based on importance. Then, tackle them one by one in order or priority.
  3. Take breaks. It’s important to take short breaks throughout the day to rest your mind and recharge. Get up and stretch, take a walk outside, or simply close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Allow some space between your thoughts.
  4. Find inspiration. Whether it’s a motivational quote, a song that pumps you up, or a podcast that inspires you, find something that lifts your spirits and keep it close by.
  5. Reward yourself. Set small goals for yourself throughout the day, and reward yourself when you achieve them. It can be as simple as taking a 5-minute break or treating yourself to a cup of cacao.

Remember, Monday-itis doesn’t have to control your day. It doesn’t even have to be a ‘thing’.

Take control, stay positive, stay focused on what’s important to you and keep moving forward.
