If today was the first day of the rest of your life – what kind of life would you like it to be?

You only have one life, so why not make it your best life?

Have you ever wondered why life seems to work out for some people? That they seem to effortlessly glide through it? It just seems so easy for them? They appear confident, happy and in control of how they approach their day to day living. They are the ones with the perfect careers, happy fulfilling relationships and they tend to exude a certain aura that permeates around them and every environment they walk into? They radiate success in every sense of the word and their entire being. And you wonder how come they were granted the pass to live such dream lives? Why them? What is their secret?

Well, if truth be known, there is no secret. They are simply focussed on what it is that they need to do, and who they need to be and become to create their dream life, to live their best life. From my immersion, research & studies in the field of human behaviour, achievement & success principles, within a career that has spanned almost 3 decades, I can tell you that ’these’ people are following some pretty simple and common steps, and they also bring with them a commitment to each new day towards being the best that they can possibly be. So, if what they are doing is pretty simple, then we would all be doing it right? Yes? No? Why not?

When you focus on what it is you want from life, what you need to do and who you need to become to make it happen then you simply need to take the appropriate action towards achieving it. It is everyone on this planets birthright to live their best life, so why choose any differently?

When I created the “Live Your Best Life™” revolution, it’s intention & philosophy was simply all about that – living your best life. With my understanding that an average person lives on this planet for 30,000 days……yes, that’s right – 30,000 days (and I know that some of you are calculating this right now) it truly is all we have on average to achieve our dream life. So I believe that this is a nice reminder for us all, that if 30,000 days is all that we have then we had better make the best of them.

Therefore, my life’s plan is pretty simple, to inspire people to achieve their best life. To inspire, encourage and motivate you to continually be the best you can be. When you maintain this focus you too will begin to create the kind of life you have been dreaming of, and I believe that this is what bringing life to leadership is all about. All leadership, no matter what must always start with you…….the individual…….each and every one of us is responsible to lead ourselves.

If you have a dream, a goal, a life’s ambition, no matter how big or small, you really can achieve it. It won’t always be easy, you may find it hard work and sometimes you may even want to give up, but I promise you, when you keep focussed on it’s success, it will definitely be worth it.

I have always been a fairly positive and motivated person, but there was definitely a time when I didn’t feel like I was living my best life. My life looked good on paper: a stable, enjoyable, adventurous career, a nice house, a life of travel, a car, a boyfriend of 10 years, yet I felt like I wasn’t living my life – I always felt like I was living someone else’s life – and at times I was so disconnected from who I was, that I completely felt like someone else.

So, I engaged a Psychologist who became my Personal Coach and we began to work out what ’success’ really meant to me, and how I wanted my life to be. And here is the interesting part, I was so disconnected from my own reality that I had sought her assistance because I thought my lack of internal happiness was linked to infertility and being overweight. There became my first lesson – that the problem is never actually the problem. So, I set up creating the kind of life that somewhere deep inside I knew I had been dreaming about and longing for my entire life. The life that I had always seen for myself.

And, I didn’t give up.

This became my daily focus.

Every day I concentrated all my efforts on implementing the strategies I needed in my life to being the best that I could possibly be and worked hard towards creating a life that finally had more meaning, felt more satisfying and opened up my heart and mind to a world of infinite possibilities.

Everything changed.

I started to value me.

I went from earning good money to tripling my income in a very short period of time. I left my boyfriend and met my soulmate who is now my husband. I moved cities and at times it felt like I moved mountains. The weight fell away. I invested in me to further my education. My business started to also take a new direction because it now had new meaning. International expansion came, as did the speaking gigs, the connections, the ability to get my message out there, because I now felt that I had something of value to share.

Live Your Best Life™

I want you to be able to live your best life. I want you to be inspired by your own life. I want you to make choices that are right for you and to stop pursuing someone else’s dream for your life. To stop doing what you think you should be doing or to chase things that you think you should be chasing – real success is rarely just about the cars, houses, diamonds and boats (although boats are pretty good). Instead it is about your own self discovery, your own internal leadership, to have the ability to design your own success based on your dreams, values, beliefs and ideals.

I have definitely made many choices that other people might have seen as unconventional, wrong or bad. I left a man who loved me. I got married within a year of meeting my soul mate. I moved cities putting at risk a career that had expanded over 20 years. I invested into my education to increase my value to the marketplace with the trust that an industry that I had worked within for almost 3 decades would allow me the opportunity to bring this value back. I didn’t know if it was going to work.

But it did. And if it hadn’t then at least I had gained the wisdom that there is no failure in life, there is only merely feedback and within every experience we have the opportunity to learn, to grow and to continue our personal evolution.

Throughout all of this my life has been filled with the most loving, beautiful and supportive friendships, most days have been an adventure full of variety and fun, with many wonderful choices available to me, I have invigorated my passion as a lifelong learner, stretched my thinking and mind into new dimensions and met some amazing people and mentors along the way. Every day is filled with happiness, love and fulfilment.

I am now inspired by many things.

My life’s passion has become my work which is all about supporting people as they strive to be the best they can be and to enhance their lives with the resources and thinking they need to become more of who they want to be.

I often get asked,” but where do I start?”.

Allow me to assist you to start your journey towards creating and living your best life and as you absorb some of these basic principles that from my experience as a Master Coach with over 17,000 hours of working with people just like you under my belt are the same basic principles towards people leading themselves towards their own success all around the world.

How you spend your day is ultimately how you spend your life. That’s why I believe each day is so important and let’s face it we may all be different yet at the core of who we are, we all want to be loved, and the essence of this love must begin from within. The art of self leadership begins and ends with love.

So, do the things you love. Surround yourself with great amazing people. If you believe you can be better than be better. If you can believe you can achieve amazing things then go and achieve amazing things. If you believe you can be happier, then be happier. Listen to the feedback that is all around you and let every cell in your body know that you are alive.

Yes, an ordinary life will always be an easier option, however I know one thing is for sure, I know I don’t want to wake up one day and think I should of or I could of. I will spend every day getting my message out there, I want people to be inspired, I want to listen to what people have to say, I want people to know I invested my 30,000 days with great determination and dedication.

My life plan is pretty simple really, to inspire people to live their best life, for that is what feeds my soul and I am going to spend the rest of my life doing so that you too can ‘live your best life’™.
