We believe that the key to living your best life is by resting well and living well.

Working more doesn’t necessarily mean more success or income. In fact, it can lead to burnout and frustration.

We believe that being in tune with the present moment and giving yourself permission to rest can help you access your best ideas and lead to your greatest success.

I find many people run a belief that working harder and longer hours will eventually lead them to their greatest success and wealth but I’m here to debunk this belief as its simply not true.

Why?

Because I know this firsthand.

I used to be that person and am still a recovering work-a-holic.

So, let me ask you, have you ever found yourself working longer and longer hours, sacrificing your personal time, and still not getting the results you desire? It’s a common misconception that the harder you work, the more successful you’ll be.

But the truth is, success is not just about working hard; it’s about working smart. And sometimes, that means taking a break and allowing yourself time to rest and recharge.

When we’re constantly on the go, our minds can become cluttered, and we lose sight of what’s truly important. We may miss out on opportunities to connect with others, appreciate the beauty around us, or even just take a deep breath and be in the moment. This can lead to burnout and frustration, which can have a negative impact on both our personal and professional lives.

On the other hand, when we give ourselves the time and space to rest, we open ourselves up to new possibilities. Our minds become clearer, and we’re able to see things from a fresh perspective. We may even stumble upon new ideas or solutions to problems we’ve been struggling with.

But how do we rest well and live well when your to-do list is a mile long? First, you have to realise that your to-do list will never be completely accomplished, simply because as you tick things off there’s always more added, make peace with this.

Another way is by being more in tune with the present moment. Instead of constantly worrying about the future or dwelling on the past, try to focus on what’s happening right now. Take a deep breath, look around, and appreciate the moment.

You also need to give yourself permission to rest. Not negotiable. This might mean taking a break from work to go for a walk, spending time with loved ones, or even just taking a nap, meditating or reading a book. When we prioritise rest, we’re better able to show up fully in all areas of our lives making our time working much more productive.

Finally, when we’re in touch with the present moment and in touch with ourselves, we can let our intuition guide us with complete trust and clarity. Instead of second-guessing ourselves, ranging through our cluttered minds for solutions or overthinking every decision, we can simply let go and trust that we have the knowledge and wisdom we need to make the right choices.

So, Best Lifer, rest well to live well.

Remember that success is not just about working hard; it’s about working smart. Take breaks, be present, and trust your intuition. When we prioritise rest and give ourselves time to recharge, we’re able to access our best ideas and live our best lives.

Big Love,

MJ
